Examinations take place three times a year; end of year exams in July, with resits in September and February.
The examinations are held in front of a panel via Zoom. Each component is examined separately with theory being tested orally.
The examination periods are fixed and the exams for the various levels can fall on any dates within that period. There is no scope to choose which dates you have your exams so it is highly advisable the entire exam period is kept free. The individual exam dates and timeslots are released four weeks before the first exam. Exams take place during working hours Monday – Friday.
February 2026 exams are taking place from 2nd – 13th February.
