QIRAA’AAT IJAAZAH EXAMINATION REGULATIONS
- Students must submit a file containing all their relevant certifications including: Tamheediyyah, Mutawassitah, Mutaqaddimah, Itqaan, Ijaazah in the Riwaayah of Hafs, the Usool Course Certification, and a copy of their passport to Fountain Tajweed.
- Students are required to attend an interview with the Qiraa’aat Institute before being assigned to a Mujeezah.
- Fountain Tajweed will make every effort to assign each student to a UK-based Mujeezah. If a UK-based Mujeezah is not available, a Mujeezah from Jordan may be assigned, in which case an additional fee of £120 will apply.
- Students are required to take an exam with the Qiraa’aat Institute in Jordan after completing five Juz’ and again upon completing the entire Qur’an.
- Students must complete the registration form for the interview or exam and pay the required fee. Upon receiving the form and payment, Fountain Tajweed will contact the student to arrange an appointment with the Qiraa’aat Institute.
- All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. If the student is unable to attend for any reason, re-registration and re-payment of the fee will be required.
- Students must adhere to the appointment scheduled by the Qiraa’aat Institute and make themselves available for the exam. Typically, the interview or exam is scheduled within two weeks of the request submission date, allowing time for preparation and personal arrangements.
- The Qiraa’aat Institute provides a two-and-a-half-hour window during which the examination committee will contact the student. The exact time depends on the student’s position on the list and the date of registration.
- Due to the Qiraa’aat Institute working with multiple centres across various countries, it is difficult to allocate a precise exam time for each student. Therefore, a broad time window is provided.
- If the specified time window passes without any contact from the Qiraa’aat Institute, the student may inform Fountain Tajweed, which will then follow up with the Qiraa’aat Institute to determine the reason for the delay.
- Fountain Tajweed does not make any exceptions for work or other personal commitments. Any student wishing to have their name submitted for an exam must be available for the scheduled appointment.
